North Dakota - The Haunted Fort. “50 States of Freaky!” Vol. 34

Be sure you’re all caught up with this series! “50 States of Freaky”

———-

At this point you have to ask, is there any fort that ISN’T haunted? That pillow fort you just made is most likely haunted now. So today we’re heading on over to North Dakota to Fort Abraham Lincoln. It’s said to be one of the most haunted places in the entire state. A woman dressed in a black dress has been witnessed pacing in front of the fort’s barracks. Sounds of crying children and clamor of invisible horses have also been reported. It’s believed that the fort is haunted due to the fact that George Custer and his 7th Cavalry left the fort for the battle at Little Big Horn in June of 1876, only to never return. It really doesn’t surprise me that this place could be haunted. Many, if not all, war-time bunkers and forts are considered to be haunted. Is this one haunted? I don’t know for sure but i do believe the possibility is most definitely there. What do you think? Could this old fort be haunted? And which are better, pillow or blanket forts?
